Emphasise consistency over perfect form: Consistent movement and activity often outweigh the importance of 'perfect form', which can also be an intimidating hurdle to being active, especially when starting a new exercise programme. Remember, it's more beneficial to maintain a regular exercise habit than not exercising at all. We can continually refine our form to fit our movement styles as we progress.
3. Embrace low-impact exercises: Low-impact exercises such as swimming, walking, and yoga can be excellent for older adults. They're gentle on the joints yet provide substantial health benefits.
